Eco-Friendly Goods

Do you use eco-friendly goods?

Here are the list of environmentally friendly products that we can use to preserve our dear Mother Earth, so let's be responsible....

1. Treehugger pens - Responsible Doddling

Treehugger pens and pencils are 95% earth friendly, being made from perma-bound newspapers, carton and biodegradable plastic. Partnering up with the Haribon Foundation was also an awesome idea, because the purchase of every item from the Treehugger line will go towards the reforestation effort of indigenous flora in the Philippines.

2. By Nature Handmade Soaps Sunblock Away -  Responsible Sun Time

Blocking your skin from the sun is modus operandi when living in a tropical country. By Nature Handmade Soaps' SPF 55 Sunblock Away is made from 100% all natural products. Slap on some before heading out to the beach, and you'll find yourself coated in sesame, sunflower, coconut and hazelnut oil to keep you moisturized and protected under the sun!

4. Essencia Citronella Insect Repellant - Responsible Dengue Warriors

Living in a country plagued by all sorts of pesky blood suckers means that arming yourself against these insects should be a daily habit. The most effective mosquito repellants contain DEET, which is potent enough to create an anti-mosquito barrier on your skin for over 24 hours, but which is so strong that prolonged use not only affects your lungs, but also the environment as well. Essencia Citronella's Insect Repellant contains no traces of DEET and is composed entirely out of local ingredients and natural oils to keep you dengue-free!

5. Giga No Itch Balm -  Responsible Itch Defense

If you've been plagued by a battalion of itchy-bites, lather on some of Giga's No Itch Balm-- an soothing coconut-oil based balm to ease skin irritations that are caused by insect bites and allergies. The fragrant balm is made from all-natural ingredients, including essential oils for an extra calming effect!

6. Jacinto & Lirio - Responsible Fashion

Jacinto and Lirio's water hyacinth leather bags and accessories have innovatively made use of an abundant resource by turning into an item for everyday use. Seriously, who would've thought that a water plant could be a bag, too?

7. Ylla Shoes -  Responsible Walking

Ylla's handmade shoes have been growing in fame ever since they introduced a line of ballerina flats made out of abaca fiber and pig skin. The ultra comfortable shoes are composed entirely out of natural products that have not gone through chemical processes that may be detrimental to the environment. Not only are the shoes cute, they're eco-friendly too!
